Esta mecánica te sirve como brújula y te llevará al siguiente paso, que es cómo construir esa estimación. Cómo construir una estimación de probabilidad confiable No necesitas un modelo de IA ni PhD; con tres fuentes probadas puedes armar una estimación sólida: estadísticas de lanzadores (xFIP, SIERA), rendimiento en casa/fuera, y tendencia de bullpen en las últimas 14–30 aperturas. Junta esos inputs, asigna pesos y obtendrás una probabilidad práctica que supere al ojo humano. Esta es la forma más práctica de evitar sesgos y pasar al cálculo de valor. Calcular EV (Valor Esperado) paso a paso Hazlo así: 1) convierte la cuota a payout decimal; 2) estima la probabilidad real (como fracción); 3) aplica EV = (Prob_model × (payout – 1)) – (1 – Prob_model). Si EV>0 hay valor. Por ejemplo, cuota decimal 2.20 (payout = 2.20), Prob_model = 0.50: EV = (0.50×1.20) – (0.50) = 0.60 – 0.50 = 0.10 o 10% de retorno esperado a largo plazo, lo que justifica una apuesta si tu bankroll y staking lo permiten.
